The UKBlues Federation is a pan-UK, not for profit federation of musicians, organisations, associations, groups, venues, companies, individuals and any other interested parties within the UK who already work to support, promote and encourage blues of all sorts within the UK, to work together to achieve UKBlues‘ aims.
UKBlues has been created by a small team of people from the blues community in the UK which has been working hard on this since the beginning of 2015.
This is an ambitious project and to be successful, UKBlues needs to call upon and receive substantial and committed support from the Blues community at all levels within the UK.

The UK Blues Federation (UKBlues) is honoured and delighted to have been appointed to operate the selection process for the UK’s representative at :
a) the European Blues Challenges (EBC) organised by the European Blues Union (EBU) which takes place annually at various locations across Europe, and
b) the International Blues Challenge (IBC) organised by the Blues Foundation (BF) which takes place annually in Memphis, Tennessee, USA
For four of the last five previous years, the selection process for the EBC has been operated by Blues Matters! magazine, one of the early members and supporters of the EBU and UKBlues acknowledges with deep gratitude the support received from Alan Pearce and Blues Matters! that has greatly assisted UKBlues in achieving the first of many goals, the nomination of the UK representative at the EBC.
