My wife / husband / partner and I share one email address/one computer. How can we vote?
As part of their security measures, the host of the voting process has in place a system which will only accept one set of votes per IP address. So each of you will need to use a computer, tablet, smartphone etc.with a different IP address. Only one vote is allowed per e-mail address.
We will be closely monitoring all votes and if we see any indications of multiple voting attempts we will investigate, seek clarification and, where necessary, disqualify votes.
Why do you require the personal information on the voting page?
The information is required for security purposes and to ensure the integrity of the 2022 UKBlues Awards process, and we guarantee that it will not be used for any other purpose. Your details will be stored in a fully GDPR manner by the survey host and will be deleted no later than two months after the voting is closed.
The voting system records your IP address and other information as a security procedure to protect against multiple voting.
